For marriage of Thos. P. and Grace and £8000 her portion, (1) to levy a fine of Sussex premises (specified in detail with field names, etc.):-
(inter alia) Bevilham Forge; Waldrons Furnace; watermill in Chittingley, and premises in these and Mayfield, Hoathley and East Hoathley, Brightling, Warlbeton, Venton, Norton, Lewes, Southover, Malling, Ringmore, Watling, Herstmonceux, Haylesham, Waldron, Hartfield and Firle.
To be for specified uses for (1), (3) and heirs.

Royal warrant to the Clerk of the Signet for a privy seal for providing an assurance as follows for payment of the following creditors of the Office of Ordnance, viz. : [inter alia] 1,000l. to Sir John Pelham for 100 tons of iron round shot of several natures contracted by him to be furnished ; 13,771l. 8s. 3½d. to William Benge, founder, for divers brass and iron ordnance, granado shells and round shot by him provided or contracted to be provided ; 4,000l.

Treasury warrant to the Receipt to issue 6,152l. 8s. 4¾d. to Charles Bertie on any unsatisfied orders in his name as Treasurer of the Ordnance, as imprest to satisfy the unpaid remainder of the 13,771l. 8s. 3½d. due to William Benge, founder, for brass and iron ordnance, granado shells, round shot etc. by him delivered to the Ordnance ; towards which total there is due to Benge orders of loan to a total of 7,618l. 19s. 10¾d. (viz. three such orders dated May 28 last for 1,000l., 1,000l. and 1,220l. 11s. 3d. and a like order dated Sept. 8 last for 4,398l. 8s. 7¾d.) : which said orders of loan are hereby to be satisfied to said Benge, with 6 per cent interest, out of loans on the 2s. Aid whether made by said Benge himself or by any other person whatsoever ; and next after the sum of 682l. 2s. 6d. to Sir John Pelham, ut supra, p. 809. No interest is hereby to be made on said balance of 6,152l. 8s. 4¾d., as same is intended to be paid to him [in cash] when and as the debentures are made forth in the Office of Ordnance for the goods which he is yet to serve in.
