Thomas died on 28 March 1540, and on 15 July his widow, his second wife Faith, was living at Hechenden [?Hughenden] in Buckinghamshire Although he left no land in the parish, Goddard Oxenbridge left 40s to the repairs of Etchingham church in his will of 1530 (TNA PROB 11/24), for a copy of which see ESRO AMS6326/46 Thomas Walsh of Haremare in Etchingham died on 11 February 1540 and was succeeded by his widow Joan, who died in 1559.
